Two-Player Board Game on One iPhone
One iPhone, two players, no Wi-Fi: PlayCascade is built as a duel – you take turns on the same device.
Many two-player games need two devices, an account and an internet connection. PlayCascade doesn’t: put one iPhone between you and take turns. It works on the train, on a plane or on holiday with no signal.
How to start a game
- Enter names. Both players get a name that is shown during the game.
- Choose who starts. Player A, Player B or random.
- Choose a board. 6×6 is free; 8×8 and 8×10 come with PlayCascade Pro.
The app remembers your last settings, so the rematch is quick to start.
Why it works so well for two
- Short rules: place, overflow, capture. Newcomers get it after one game or with the tutorial.
- Every move is visible: cascades are animated, so both of you see what happened.
- Scores on screen: both players’ scores are shown during the game.
- Pause any time: the game saves automatically and can be resumed later.
Nobody to play with? The AI takes the other side – in four levels from Easy to Expert. More in AI opponent compared.
